About Rebecca Stanwyck Psychotherapist Here are some highlights from my career.  I have:

  • Prevented hundreds of people from losing their jobs (or minds!) as a result of personal/behavioral problems like depression, anxiety, unmanaged anger or substance abuse
  • Taught continuing education classes on stress management and  understanding addiction to thousands of lawyers
  • Facilitated dozens of classes and groups on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and other mindfulness practices
  • Established and directed an employee assistance program for the faculty and staff of a large Bay Area university
  • Coordinated an employee assistance program for a major utility company in Northern California
  • Maintained a private psychotherapy practice since 1992 where I’ve counseled hundreds of individuals and dozens of couples
